Senior Product Manager (Cross-Border Payments)

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager – Cross-Border Payments to join Salmon’s Payments team in building next-generation cross-border payment solutions. You’ll work closely with compliance, engineering, operations, and business teams to deliver seamless, regulated, and customer-centric cross-border payment experiences.

The position involves being and working most of the time in Manila. We help with relocation, finding housing and other things to make your move as comfortable as possible.

What You’ll Do

• Drive the execution of cross-border payment products, from discovery to launch and scale

• Translate product vision into clear requirements, tasks, and delivery plans

• Coordinate across compliance, legal, operations, engineering, and external partners

• Ensure solutions are aligned with regulatory frameworks and licensing requirements

• Participate in regulatory workstreams to secure necessary licenses and approvals

• Track delivery, resolve blockers, and maintain a high bar for quality and compliance

• Monitor product performance and customer experience, iterating for improvement

What We Expect from Candidate

• 4+ years of product management or product ownership in fintech / crypto / payments

• Track record of launching and scaling payment products across multiple markets

• Strong technical literacy in backend systems and financial infrastructure

• Experience with regulated payments (AML, KYC, sanctions, fraud prevention)

• Proven experience with regulatory frameworks in foreign jurisdictions; licensing experience is a strong plus

• Deep knowledge of cross-border flows (SWIFT, correspondent banking, FX, stablecoins, treasury operations)

• Experience with remittance or trading mechanics (crypto or fiat)

• Strong understanding of processing, settlement, and reconciliation flows
