Product Manager (Referral Program)

PhilippinesRemote

  • Remote or relocation support to Philippines.

  • Remote work is possible, preferred time zones GMT+4 to GMT+8

We’re looking for a Product Manager to join the Growth team at Salmon, with a focus on building and scaling our referral program ("Bring a Friend"). This program is a strategic lever to drive customer acquisition across multiple products and channels. You’ll be responsible for discovering high-intent referral moments in the customer journey and building flows that help users seamlessly invite friends — and convert those leads into real business value.

This is a unique opportunity to own a cross-functional growth product from ideation to execution, challenge the status quo, and deliver measurable impact in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the Referral Program: Lead the development, rollout, and continuous improvement of our referral engine, from onboarding flows to tracking infrastructure and conversion pipelines.

  • Define Roadmaps: Shape the product vision and strategy. Build and maintain a clear roadmap, backlog, and prioritization framework to scale referrals as a performance channel.

  • Run Experiments: Design and run experiments to test hypotheses quickly and learn fast. Validate ideas with MVPs and iterate based on results.

  • Be Data-Driven: Identify key metrics, define tracking requirements, and monitor performance through dashboards. Continuously ask “why” and “what’s next?” based on the numbers.

  • Deliver Autonomously: Solve problems independently and come to the team with solutions, not just questions. Work across tech, design, marketing, and analytics to get things done.

  • Communicate Creatively: Develop customer-facing communication and referral triggers. Think outside the box to motivate customers to share the product.

  • Document and Structure: Keep documentation clean and clear. Structure your thinking and describe features in a way that developers and designers love to work with.

What we expect from candidate

  • 2+ years in product management or a related role where you owned a product or feature end-to-end

  • Excellent analytical thinking — you ask “why” before “how,” and dig into data to find insights

  • Strong structure and documentation habits — you think in Notion tables, Figma flows, and Jira tickets

  • Proven track record of iterative delivery — from MVPs to full-scale rollouts

  • Creativity and growth mindset — you like to test, learn, and always improve

  • Independence — you can lead without being micromanaged

  • Bonus: experience with fintech, acquisition funnels, or referral mechanics

What we create

  • Modern banking services for millions of Filipinos

  • Cutting-edge solutions based on the best world practices and AI implementation

  • Licensed neobank aiming to be a unicorn and leading fintech in the fast-growing region of Southeast Asia

  • An environment that allows you to launch new products in 3-4 months

  • A basis for expanding into new markets all over the world

What we offer

  • Passionate international team spanning the globe

  • Rapid professional growth. Merit (and merit only) rules the day

  • Reward for performance and long-term success of Salmon

  • Fast track to grow internationally

  • New office in Manila, Philippines

  • Relocation support for eligible candidates

  • Remote and hybrid options

  • Medical insurance, health and wellness benefits

  • Program of events and activities both online and in person
