Junior+ / Middle QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain manual and automated test cases
• Identify, report, and verify bugs and inconsistencies
• Collaborate with developers and PMs during feature development
• Continuously improve test coverage and documentation quality
• Support the team in building a stable and scalable QA process
• Participate in QA discussions within hybrid Agile/Kanban workflow

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in QA engineering
• Good understanding of manual testing practices
• Experience in writing clear test cases and bug reports
• Basic experience or solid interest in JavaScript / TypeScript
• Familiarity with Playwright or similar test automation tools
• Ability to understand product logic and explore it from a QA angle
• Comfortable with remote async communication and working with documentation

Qualifications that can be a plus:

• Experience with CodeceptJS or Testomat.io
• Exposure to AI, chatbot systems, or media generation pipelines
• Background in testing payment systems or user-generated content platforms
• Understanding of REST APIs, browser dev tools, or basic scripting in Bash

Challenging tasks:

• Testing AI-generated conversations and multimedia features with constantly evolving logic and edge-case behavior
• Designing and maintaining reliable automated test suites in a fast-paced development cycle
• Actively participating in task estimation, sharing testing perspectives early in the planning phase
• Optionally, proposing and championing your own QA process improvements or tooling ideas
• Taking shared responsibility for system reliability and stability, contributing to a strong SRE mindset within the team
• Helping foster a healthy, collaborative culture around quality, where QA is a shared team value—not just a role
