Customer Success Account Manager (CSAM) with Japanese

🌟Who we’re looking for:

We are seeking a proactive Customer Success Account Manager (Japanese Market) who is passionate about helping clients succeed. You will be the voice of TaxDome for our Japanese customers — guiding them, solving their challenges, and ensuring they grow with us. If you thrive at the intersection of client relationships, problem-solving, and revenue impact, this role is for you.

💼What You Will Do:

Serve as the primary contact point for Japanese clients, ensuring a high level of customer success and retention

Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships by understanding client business needs and goals

Provide onboarding, guidance, and product consultation; resolve issues effectively and promptly

Ensure service quality standards are met, handling inquiries with professionalism and cultural sensitivity

Achieve KPIs such as retention rate, account growth, and customer satisfaction (CSAT / NPS)

Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Engineering) to bring client feedback and support product improvements

Adapt customer success processes to align with Japanese business practices (attention to detail, respect, thorough communication)

🧩What We Expect From You:

Native or near-native proficiency in Japanese (spoken and written)

Strong command of English for internal communication, documentation, and collaboration

Previous experience in Customer Success / Account Management for the Japanese market, ideally in SaaS or tech companies

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to listen actively and translate customer needs into actionable steps

High attention to detail, accountability, and commitment to deadlines and quality

Comfort working cross-functionally with different teams

🌱Nice to Have:

Experience with customer success KPIs (LTV, churn, upsell)

Experience supporting or implementing SaaS solutions for Japanese clients

Knowledge of Japanese business culture and customer service standards

Skills in handling escalations or conflict resolution

Awareness of UX, localization, and interface considerations
